We are DABU. Our home textiles are block printed by hand, dyed naturally with plants and minerals, and made in Rajasthan, India: the heart of where the traditional art of dabu was born.
Where is DABU made?
Udaipur is a city of lakes nestled in the desert of Rajasthan. It's famous for its palaces, traditional lifestyle, and long history of warrior kings. Udaipur is the capital of the vibrant and strong Mewar Kingdom.
Dabu block-printing originated in a village just outside of the city and is the foundation of our home textiles. In addition to working with local craftsmen, we have a studio in Udaipur where we naturally dye and stitch.
CAREFULLY CRAFTED
All of our textiles are sustainably handmade in the Mewar region of India. We are choose herbal dyes, creating by hand, traditional practices, and focus on the well-being of the people we work with and our environment.
