Like the rest of the world, things have been a little crazy and kept us a bit quiet over here at DABU. (Looking at you, 2020.) After a lot of soul searching, hard work, restructuring and creating, we’re excited to share what we've been up to lately!
We updated our site! Go and check it out. We’ve got all kinds of new info like who we are as a brand, our origin story, and of course new pictures. If you ever wondered how or why in the world we started DABU, then hop on over, peruse a bit and give this a read.
New rugs! You asked for them and here they are. We’ve got new colors with all the same perks. Handwoven, small batch, natural dyes, zero-waste, 100% cotton. And made here by yours truly, the artisans of Mewar. If you haven't already seen this, here is the process, step-by-step, of how each rug is made. These are special to us and are right in line with our value of striving to be a zero-waste company. The textile industry is one of the worst when it comes to waste and by giving new life to textile scraps, we hope to reduce help waste.
